I moved here in January of 2004 into a corporate short-term lease apartment.
Overall I would not reccomend the facility.
My assigned parking space in the parking garage was very narrow. I have a midsize car. People drive like bats ofut of hell into the parking structure. Iwas almost hit headon. Instead I chose to hug the wall which caused $300. worth of damage.
The walls are paper this. We hear the elevator, the neighbors, the subway, other tenants flushing their toilets or doing their laundry, etc... The heating system is noisy and no matter how high I turned up the thermostat my bedroom was always cold. Maintenance came in to fix my roommates toilet and aparently forgot that I work nights. The cursing and swearing was just uncalled for. The dishwasher was dented and not working when we moved in. The carpet is horribly difficult to keep clean.
In the basement apartment we are in you hear everything from the floors above. Forget about using a cellphone. Turn your head the wrong way and,oops, no signal.
Lastly, salt doesn't work on ice when it is 10 degrees. I am from Massachusetts and these people have no idea how to maintain ice/snow covered walkways.
In a nutshell if you are looking for a quiet place to call home, this isn't it.
