Not bad for singles, not good for kids

Good amenities, nice fitness center, nice coffee machine in the management office. But the floors are not only thin, but they resonate. Normal walking around the apartment is like walking on the head of a bass drum. When the kids are playing, forget about it: you're going to get complaints from the neighbors, regardless of how well-behaved the kids are on any particular day. The Metro is a brisk 10-minute walk away (brisker in the winter), down a four-lane boulevard. But you need a car to live here, since there's no shopping within walking distance. Apartments are poorly insulated, especially windows, and cold in the winter.
