I lived here for two years and moved out in January. This place costs a lot of money (1200 per month for a tiny one bedroom) and for that you get a place close to DC. That's all you get. The neighborhood next door is a mess and the security gates are never closed. I personally witnessed two six or seven year olds riding around the complex on their bikes at midnight!! Hello! Any parents out there''
In winter your heating bill will skyrocket as the windows let drafts blow in, I felt like I was living in the arctic. In summer, you'll jam the ac all day as the place seems to heat up like an oven. I was paying $120 electric bills per month plus gas, cable, water, phone..it gets pricy! Now, as far as the bugs, I lived in building 100 and I never saw any. I detest any insects so I was surprised that others had reported bugs in their apartment as this complex is rather new and clean.
The shopping center across the street is an exasperating mess. It's packed at all non business hours and the stores are staffed with the most miserable, nasty employees you're likely to find anywhere.
Do yourself and favor and keep looking at other apartments. I'm not sure if the new management is having any impact, time will tell. Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7
