I went there last week to look for an apartment even after reading the reviews; I though it would only be fair if I form my own opinion.
The apartment shown to me was nice and well kept, I have no complains about it...the common areas were dirty (smelled like urine) on the hallways but he main turned off, was the leasing office, the lady who helped me (Crystal) felt that I was interrupting her lunch (her food was over the desk) and her question was: "What are looking for'"...from then on, everything was wrong, her attitude was so unprofessional.
I thought, maybe I can ignore this, anyways I will live in my apartment, so it's not like I have to deal with this every day....
When I was leaving I saw a resident and I approached her, I asked how she liked the property and the area...oh my! The resident told me, do yourself a favor and do not rent here...it's been hell of year, our car got broken into, people jump the fence to steal, it is not safe and the ground areas are not well kept; management is so rude and unsympathetic to our complains...the only convenience is the stores around I gave her a huge THANK YOU! Got in to my car and drove away; I will not be renting from this place. I'm posting this review so people who consider to rent here do not ignore the signs so many negative were not wrong.

First, when I signed the lease to my apartment the leasing agent was eating lunch but was very helpful and attentive and then cried out "Welcome Home!" as I was leaving. Second, I've walked through every hallway in the whole complex looking for this urine and dog poop as I work with the Alexandria Board of Health. Well guess what! I can't find it!

I gave my opinion based on my experience...last time I checked; this was a free country, so no need to go all confrontational about it. The lunch on her desk was not what bother me??????it was the fact that she was rude and yes If you are eating and don??????t want to be interrupted, please go some where else to eat??????
The apartment shown to me was nice and I liked it, but not the hallways??????and yes there was a urine smell in the hallway I walked thru??????is the entire property like that? I don??????t know it and honestly I don??????t care because I rented somewhere else. If I pay for my own rent I get to choose where I want to live. Thank you,

What's with all the question marks???????????? Meanwhile, your "experience" was based on spending a few minutes there. I've lived there for years and still have not had any problems. Except those stupid gates that are always broken and that snarky guy in the office. I think some people get defensive because they actually like living there and don't want to hear people like you who come in for a for minutes bashing the place.

The issue here is that you called the apartment complex "unsafe" in your review yet you have not lived here, nor did you speak to any other residents. I have lived all over this area and the complex is as safe as any others. If you want to live in a place where you can leave your doors unlocked I suggest you move out to Front Royal or take a self defense class. Your points are all ridiculous and not well researched.

I have lived here a couple of years, and I have seen dog waste in the hallways. And on several occasions we have received letters from the community, which stated that vehicles have been broken into. On one occasion members of the Alexandria police department went around checking and verifying that residents locked their vehicles and did not have any valuables visible through their car windows.
