Windy Windy Windy

It was windy the other night while I was out walking my dog. My hair got messed up and I spoke to the office about this and they refused to pro-rate my rent for my trouble. I explained that I really had to walk far out of my way because someone spit on the outdoor sidewalk where I normally walk and I needed to avoid that and it really was so windy. I am actually scared to be writing this because someone on the metro shuttle told me that the people in the office have ways to find out who is making anonymous comments on here and they will totally raise your rent and they will brick up your fireplace and I totally hear the neighbors lighting their fireplace and it makes my dog bark and that is a problem too.

Haven't had any other problems. My goodness man, what else do you need before you don a life preserve and save yourself. Poop all over the place, gates don't work, cars broken into . . . connect the dots before it is too late!! Maybe you need the roof to cave in on you as well?? Or maybe you need your door torn from the hinges like the west side of the building complex last week?? Or how about inaccurate bills every month and unlawful rent increase threats? Maybe the malfunctioning gates closing on your car while you drive through them? Maybe getting locked out of the club room each time you try to use the worn-out fitness equipment because the "high tech" RFID doors aren't working again? How about getting locked outside of the entire apartment complex because neither of the gates are working? What about getting your car towed for lawful parking, then being charged twice the lawful amount? How about getting your packages delivered to the front office, and then nobody bothering to tell you they are there, and the front desk blaming it on you because you didn't come pick it up on time because you should have been psychic and known they were there? What about kids and large-boned persons randomly knocking on your door and making your dog bog early in the morning? Would any of those get you to jump ship? My goodness, man, how wet do you have to get before you abandon ship!!

Redraider I don't think you've lived there long enough. My child was out playing and had her hair pulled by another child in the playscape. While I don't think this is the apartment complex's fault, per se, I believe the staff could be more vigilant in preventing these types of things from happening.

Are these for real? You expect the complex to pro-rate your rent because it was windy outside and your hair got mussed? I lived there for 3 months in '07, and there was never a day that wasn't windy as hell. I had to walk my dog several times a day, and my hair stayed messed up the whole time I lived in DC, but I don't think it was the Reserve's fault. I never had problems with the gates closing on me, I just wish they had kept the gates closed at all times instead of leaving them open during peak times.

No sir, they aren't real. It is sarcasm in response to some of the ridiculous ratings left on here.
