All you military members...beware! I lived there for 3 years and although convenient and affordable, it was when I moved out that I encountered problems. I moved out on Oct 31 and they didn't have an estimate for me for any damages incurred while being there. They said they would send me a bill. Well, as all military members know, it takes a while for mail to be forwarded when PCSing, especially when you're moving out of the country!! Well, on 29 Nov. (not even 1 month) my account was sent to a COLLECTION AGENCY, which in return was reported to our credit reports. Please understand, I paid my rent on time every single month for 3 1/2 years and had great credit. Riverside park apartments were less than amicable when trying to resolve the situation. Don't let the same thing happen to you.

Thanks for that tip. I was considering renting a 2 BR unit, but now I most certainly will NOT. That is a crappy way to treat our men/women in uniform. Sounds like they're a bunch of boorish ogres to me.

Another thing about them that stinks is the picky nature of their "Saferent" system. I have vitually no debt but for some reason got turned down for an apartment. My credit wasn't the best but didn't deserve to get rushed out when my app was denied. If my credit were so horrible then why did the US Government let me have a TS/SCI clearance with that credit? Another bad thing is that AIMCO owns a lot of complexes in the area and if you get turned down at one you get turned down at all, they don't tell you that when applying
