Not terrible, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I lived at Riverside for a year. Perks: Convenient to the metro and a good price for the size of the apartment. Maintenance requests were answered promptly and could be place on-line (which was convenient for me.) Here were the BIG problems: 1) House centipedes that were larger than ANY I have ever seen before. I actually had to call the emergency maintenance number for somebody to come and kill one because it was too gross for me to go near. The problem was never solved. Disgusting. 2) Utilities went out at least once a month. This might be better when the construction on and around the property is finished, but there's nothing quite like waking up in the morning and having no hot water (or no water at all!). 3) The neighbors. When my next door neighbor played his stereo (which was often) I felt like my entire apartment was vibrating with his bass, and the hallway always smelled like whatever everybody ate for dinner the night before. 4) The carpets and the rug in my apartment weren't kept very nice and whoever repainted after the previous tenant painted over all of the hinges, doors and electric sockets, making it difficult for me to use them until I sanded away a layer of paint.
