The buildings are well positioned both for commute and amenities. Convenient walk to Huntington Station. Feels quite secure. Apartments are pretty big and reasonably well looked after. Not plush by any means though. The air conditioners are *very* temperamental. Only one of the two is typically working at any one time. Little to no problem of noise from neighbors. Apartments were quite good value but AIMCO unilaterally imposed 12% cost increase last year - in this real estate market go figure.

Why would anyone tolerate a 12% increase? The place has terrible security. The crime rate, in the parking lot has been high. Why do 3 out of 4 people NOT recommend this place?

"Feels secure" Controlled access doors do not lock half the time. Service entrances are opened all the time to allow for anyone to come in and out. Management recently (10/31/08) sent a letter around about serveral thefts in units.
Management's response to main entry doors not locking, we'll we told the contractor to fix them.

yeah - you're right - review is out of date. burglaries are a serious worry. between the car thefts, burglaries *and* the rent increase no longer recommend this place. I'm actually leaving when my lease expires. The comments about convenience, size and amenities do stand though...
