This was a terrific place to live with extremely receptive and friendly management. My apartment was spacious and a very good value for the area. Activities for residents were offered regularly, including book club, sand volleyball, movie nights, and tours of the The Capitol, just to name a few.

No doubt this place would be considered "very good" if one was moving from a ghettto /slum to that place. It's terrible place to walk. You have to pay premium price to be a member of the sports club. For the same price you could join a much better/exlusive Sports Club equipped with racquet ball/indoor volleyball, etc.. Book club? What a joke! The driver of the shuttle is a character out of a nightmare/Horror film.

Yeah, I have to say that this review seems to have been posted by a member of the staff! No one cares about volleyball and book clubs when the neighborhood is a slum. And you know what? we could care less about activities. Give me a decent, safe place to live. Please. Give me a break.

Actually no, I'm not a member of the staff. I was in Virginia for school and have since moved out of state. I have nothing to gain by posting my review; I simply wanted to state my opinion. I enjoyed my time at Riverside, nearly 18 months, and like I said before, I appreciated the management's effort in making the complex an enjoyable place to live, I thought maintenance was terrific, and I liked the close proximity to the metro.
