Overall we liked it here, but we definitely had some problems. Appliance conditions are nowhere near what you see in the models. I demanded a new washer/dryer when the knob fell off in my hand during the initial tour of our new apartment, right after we signed lease. They did replace it. We never had a problem with rodents or mice, and we were on the ground floor. We also felt safe here--no break-ins or car damage for us. Office staff very friendly, especially Nicole K., who was wonderful to us. Great amount of parking for tenants and visitors (but not well lit). Grounds fairly well-maintained--occasional overflowing of trash and dumpsters. Great responses by maintenance and good-size apartments. Main complaints: 1. $250 non-refundable "pick up and go fee" is extremely unfair. 2. Outrageously drafty apartments. We kept our apt at 70 throughout winter and paid $125/mo for electric. We had to put a big blanket in front of our sliding glass door (did not lock) to keep cold air out, but we actually see it move when wind blows! Apt. always freezing. 3. The ceilings are paper-thin. We can hear every movement by our upstairs neighbors, and it wakes us up daily. Apartment practically shakes when they walk around.



4. Also- can?t stress the rent hikes enough. They have even raised our rent after we put down deposit! Deposit DOES NOT lock in rent price.



Sorry so long, but this stuff is important. We?re moving out because Foxchase had a rent sale. Offers MUCH more for price and better community.
