OK, maybe Rose Hill isn?t that bad. I mean, I don?t think they?ve ever killed anyone.


Rose Hill is the worst. I was reading some of the other reviews and I was so glad to hear that other people had the same experiences that I did! I moved to the DC area for a job and only had 1 day to look for an apt. so I went with Rose Hill. After getting to know the area, I would never have chosen to live there. If you are single and slightly hip, please look in either Alexandria city or Arlington. Rose Hill is the suburban nightmare and a total dump. The people there are pretty trashy too. I think it?s heading towards become a glorified project.


First of all, the noise level is atrocious. If you?re a glutton for punishment and you do decide to live there, please make sure you request a top floor apartment. The noise from my upstairs neighbors drove me nuts for the year that I lived there. And it was literally just them walking around their apartment - it wasn?t like they were having a keg party every night. I used to be awakened every morning hearing them walking around getting ready for work. It was so ------- annoying. I was paying premium rent so I could hear every God-damn move my neighbor made.


Second, the property manager was a ---- death sergeant. She was a total cow; a miserable human being; personality like a pan full of worms. In other words, a real -----. She was hideously fat, too. The other losers in the office were idiots - as in they had to take an illiteracy test to get the job.


As for other complaints that I read about Rose Hill (------ appliances, horrible bathrooms, mice, cockroaches, etc.), I fortunately did not encounter these. My apartment had all new appliances and a brand new washer/dryer. However, the noise and the miserable office staff undid anything that was redeemable about the place.


It is true though that the apartments are cold like an Arctic winter! The sliding glass doors I think were make of Saran Wrap -cold air just came right in.


Please do your research and do not move there! There are much better apartments, in much nicer sections of the DC metro area that offer better value. Rose Hill is a ------- nightmare!
