KEEP GOING, DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!

I just don?t know where to start with this complex.
1. Management (the heavy lady, with shoulder length blond hair with her own office to the back and left) Name begins with "M". Doesn?t know the first thing about management. Brushes you off when you have a problem with the apartment or lease. My lease had to be corrected 3 times because they did not know what they were doing when they created it. How hard can it be to add the rent special to a 13 month lease. Her staff is lazy, rude, and I even have heard they have stolen residents packages before out of the holding closet. She acts as if you owe her, and that she is better than everyone else. And there is a fee for everything. Even the pass to the club house cost a hundred dollars. And they stamp the keys with a do not copy. So you can't make an extra and then have to pay the lock out fee or buy it from them which I think it is $10.00. Last time I had a key copied it was about a buck. They need all the money they can get. The rental agents live on property and their children blast the stereo while they are at work, but when you confront the parents, I was told "my child not allowed to turn that stereo on while I am gone."(with the sister pointing finger to your face thing going on.) Yeah, right, spot check you will hear it a mile away. And coming from your door. Get REAL!!!!!! And they were public housing, I sware they still have some. Even though you have to make 45,000 to live here. I met a strange man, he said he lived here and it was a half way house. He was there from the county on drug charges or something. Where is full disclosure at' I would of never moved in if an addict lived there on probation or what ever he said. And he was so proud of himself for telling. me
2. Little Cuba, that is where I lived. All the spanish fools that smoke outside in the hall and by the doorway. Can?t drive a lick, get them a donkey not a 5000lb car. English is the second language here.
3. Parking plenty, but you better get in before dark. Was warned by rental agent (after signing lease - of course) that they have had problems with cars being stolen. Lighting sucks.(Don?t park in the back lot of Celtic & Knickerbocker - no lights here at all) Park of the main street. People can hide behind the big bushes, and lord know what would happen then. And gravel I guess they must of used it all this winter but you track it into your house. Even have found it in my bed, yuck......
4. People hanging outside now that it is warm, like small gangs. Drag racing the cars up and down the strip. Real appealing to me.
5. Trash dumpster, not located well. You have to walk a 1/2 mile to get to one and then it is always over flowing. 7 dumpsters for 300 apartments dumped twice a week. Not nearly enough. Spend the money the first set of dumpster is right when you pull in from the club house.
6. Club house don?t let it fool you, they should of spent the money in the apartments. The nicest thing there, but I can?t live in the club house.
7. Noise, can hear the person over top of me doing simple things. Sounds like at times they are going to fall right through the ceiling. Get rid of the wood floors, CARPET CARPET.
8. Wash machines in the apartments, don?t be fooled they don?t ring out the clothes, and over flow. 2 towel fills the washer up. And when they don?t work which is more often than they do. They don?t have an extra place for you to go and do your laundry. So you have to lug it down to the laundry mat. A new machine will take you months to get, because they only order once a month. (So, I was told by the man in charge of that stuff. Name starts with "R")
9. As I have read my lease and can only tolerate being here a short time longer. I am giving my official notice. (I did last 48 days.) I believe about 48 too many. I hope this will give you some insight not to move here. So, that you won?t have to pay 3,000 to get out of a lease. But, trust me, for peace of mind it is well worth it. I think come the next week or so they will be shocked when I give them the keys, pay them and a copy of this. And on to a new place, without the headaches. Pay a little more, or look harder. THEY SUCK!!!!!!!! RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!
