Overall, living at Rose Hill was ok (2003 - 2004), but the management was a little shady at the end. They will do WHATEVER they can to keep your deposit. Make SURE you are WITH THEM when they do the walk through at the end. I had to move out of town on a weekend and they refused to do the walk through before I moved out and they refused to do it on a weekend, so I had to leave them to do it. They accused me of having abnormal damage to the carpets, which was just not true. They claimed they took pictures, but when I asked to see them, they told me I would have to come in (I moved over 3 hours away and had no time to go back). In addition, I was told that the amount they kept from my deposit was for the cost the carpet cleaners charged them, but I never saw that bill, even after I requested it and was told, by Mona, the manager, that she would send it to me. I gave her my address, phone number and fax. I called over four times about the deposit situation, but once I was out of the apartment and not paying them the outrageous rent for a TINY one bedroom apartment, they didn't care anymore.

The grounds were nice, but the winter was rough since no one shoveled the sidewalks when we had a blizzard and the snow plow piled up three feet of snow BEHIND my car.

The pool is decent.

The gym area is very nice, but paying $100 for a key to use it was just rediculous.

Overall, it's a nice area and a GREAT location, but they do need some work. I wouldn't put down the whole complex just because of my bad exit experience, but I would make sure I got EVERYTHING in writing and watch the management a little more closely if I were to live there again.
