I moved here in Jan. of 07 and at first it wasn't too bad. About 2 or 3 months later my apartment was INFESTED with roaches. Granted that this is an apartment, but they should only be seen in the kitchen where the food is! But no, I had them in my living room and bedroom also and everyday I come home from work to kill AT LEAST 10 roaches when I forst walk in teh door! I have never even left food out on the counters! I had to call NUMEROUS times to the rental office and all they keep doing is sending someone out to spray even though I keep calling back to say the roaches are still in my apartment. I was the one to suggest exterminating all the units in my building. Shouldn't that be routine to spray all apartments''' Even that did not help! Then around June someone had moved into the apartment above me and makes a rediculous amount of noise all day long. And of course the rental office doesn't do anything about that either. I had to speak with the property manager about all the issues I had and at first she acted like she was trying to help me. She would say that she warned the ppl upstairs about the noise but it still does not stop. So either she was lying about speaking to them OR they don't care that they are so noisy. Months and months go by with me complaining nearly EVERYDAY and her saying the same thing..that she keeps talking to them and blah blah. What I had forgot to mention was that I was pregnant this entire time. So dealing with everything has had me stressed out and I had high blood pressure in the last trimester of my pregnancy! Anyway, in Novemeber I had my baby and of course has the noise stopped by then' NO! And when I brought him home he kept waking up due to all the running and banging from upstairs and infants are usaully deep sleepers. I had her once again to see what she has done and she basically tells me to deal with it! I was like are you serious' I pay rent and I have been complaining and complaining forever and she tells me to deal with it. She offered to move me into a diff. unit, but my lease was ending in about a month so why would I want to move and have to move again in a month' If she just to tell me this 6 months ago I would have done that. But she acts liek she's helping me this whole time and then tells me to move. Shouldn't it be the noise makers that should be EVICTED' Sorry to have such a long story, but I want everyone to know how unprofessional the staff is and how miserable you woulnd be living here. The ONLY plus is that it's cheap rent. But that's only because the apartments are not in a great location. So do yourself a favor and move somewhere else. It will save you a lot of problems.
