Why I spent almost two years here I will never truly know. Since I've been here the air conditioner broke repeatedly. It was eventually replaced after 4-5 times. The upstairs neighbors water heater exploded multiple times(just water not flames and debris) and my water heater exploded multiple times. My utility closet was and still is full of mold and falling apart. It took over 3 weeks for the mold to be treated. The shrubbery is trimmed once or twice a year making it look like crap. The grass is actually mowed on a frequent basis. The parking lot is a gathering grounds for loiterers and drug deals. The police do patrol through here somewhat frequently, but rarely at the right times.
The flooring in my bathrooms is coming up and I think it is decomposing. It is my estimate that the stove and dish washer are both at least ten years old. The stove's burners are canted(they do not lay level), making cooking an excerise of rotating a pan to keep your food evenly cooked. The dishwasher door would not stay latched shut. It took over a month to have this problem fixed. Most of the plumbing in community was replaced. Yet somehow I have less water pressure now and the contractors got drywall debris inside of both my medicine cabinets. This was also only supposed to be about a one week project, but took well over two.
The buildings are old and have sunk a bit. You can see it in the doorways. The buildings are drafty and everything is electric(hot water, heat and the stove/oven), making your electric bill fairly high at all times of the year. There is very little area for recreational activity and the pathetic excuse of a playground/park and pool does not help much. You can have pet's for a fee and some of those that do don't even pick up after them. Making barbequeing a combination of careful walking and limited breathing.
The fellow resident's aren't too bad for the most part. There are some friendly people and some people that just keep to themselves. Unfortunatly there are also some people who like to smoke blunt's in the parking lot and deal drug's. There are also plenty of non-english speaking, non-americans that like to blast ciesta music well into the night.
Over all I would not recomend this place to anyone. Don't be fooled by the sign that says "Luxury Apartments", because it is a lie. This place is falling apart and all of it's services are sub-par. Yet somehow the management has the audacity to significantly raise it's rent every year. WOW.

Agreed 100%. I gave these clowns my 2 months notice with my December rent and never received an acknowledgement from them. My wife took a second copy of our notice to them and now they're claiming that we owe rent up until Feb 12th. Needless to say, I told them that they will not receive another penny from me (lease expired the end of Jan 09). Given the various problems I've had to deal with in this -------- of an apartment (mold, electricity blowing out, sinking floors, noisy neighbors, roach infestation, etc). Three of the pictures submitted are ones provided by me showing the mold growing all over my pantry (which the clowns would not clean up properly) If they try to give me any problems regarding my lease, I'll be contacting the health dept and the BBB as well. I'll also be submitting a lot more pictures detailing the roach infestation and the sinking floors. I can already foresee getting my deposit back being a pain.
