My grandmother lived in Seminary Towers West since the 70's. I lived with her from 1988-1992. So basically I have been around this place for over 30 years or more. Unless things have changed considerably over the years, this was always a nice place to live. I never found roaches or mice a problem and the desk clerk at Seminary Towers East has been there over 30 years and is very good at maintaining a safe enviroment. My car was never broken into and maintenance was always readily available. This place has fond memories for me and was always like a second home. I recently visited in July and have seen considerable imporvements in the facilities.

How do you know the water damage was fixed? It wasn't fixed, it was patched. I have seen a couple of apartments on my floor that have mold growing on the walls. As for heat, we were without more than a few times last winter. We also lacked hot water on many occasions. The a/c has never been a problem for me. This place has gone downhill in the last year or so. The lazy manager is finally gone but not much has improved. We have plenty of little kids here and they are not a problem, it's the teenagers that are free to roam the neighborhood until 3am because their parents do not supervise them, mainly because many of them have 2 jobs. The only person who has been against children are the two old biddies that work the desks in the east and west tower. They need to retire.

It's a shame to hear of all of the disgruntled tenants on this property. Perhaps this place has changed and management should take notice. I used to be able to park my car any time of the day or night with ample spots available and could walk or jog the neighborhood at any hour. This was truly a convenient place to live with it's proximity to the grocery store, bus route and highway. One thing that management was always against it seemed was children. And I am not one to judge but is a high rise building an appropriate place to raise children anyway? Again, I am not judging so please don't slam me. As for water damage, it happened once and was promptly repaired without any other problem. I am also a stickler for a/c and heat working properly and never recall that being an issue.
