Arlene is just Fabulous! Sammy is too. That's not where it ends. There are a few Wonderful ladies and gentlemen that serve as our front desk staff. Also, the building is Lovely. I am in my 3rd Apartment. I moved out of the first one as soon as I moved a few boxes in or should I say the roaches moved me out as soon as I moved in. I moved out of the 2nd apartment as soon as the lease expired due to mice. I had trapped 7 before I got cats. My cats caught 3 more. I was on the top floor of the 13 story building! Why bother you may ask' Arlene and Sammy are that nice. Now,I have moved to a beautiful 11th floor, remodeled unit. Again with the roaches! I requested extermination and cleaned out my cabinets and received treatment. It seemed to do the trick. About a month later I get a letter telling me I am scheduled for extermination and had 2 days to clean out my kitchen(again). This time my work schedule made this task impossible. I went to the front desk and the Concierge was verbally supportive. He said that the treatment was a gel program that did not require my having to clean out my kitchen cabinets. I deal with contracts all day and explained that fact to the person on duty and further requested that he would please put what he just said in writing. He got exasperated and asked me to be like everybody else and take what he said and go about the rest of my day. I reminded him that this was the 2nd time I had to insist that he be of service instead of just sitting there like a bump on a log. He told me I better watch my mouth. What', Was he going to strike me' All I asked is if the employee would put what he just said in writing. It was not an illegal, immoral or unethical request. I am a bit concerned about this example of NOT GOOD customer service. All that read this should be too.
