Don't Live on the 2nd Floor above the Boiler Room

I actually liked living in Seminary Towers. Parking is ample, it's a nice location and convenient to the highway. I never had mice problems but I have seen a roach or two every now and then in the hallways and in my apartment.
I lived in the main building and the first problem I had was living over the boiler room. This was not disclosed when I moved into the apartment. In the summer and winter, you can hear the boiler turning on and off. It's very loud and makes the apartment vibrate. It does this twice and hour around the clock. I did complain and the management office gave me an option of breaking my lease or moving into another apartment. So as a heads-up, make sure you ask questions about what's below the apartment if they offer you an apartment on the 2nd floor. I don't understand why they would move someone into that apartment knowing that the boiler room is beneath it. I guess that's why even though it was a new apartment, it was discounted.
Another issue was the kids running in hallway. There's nowhere for the kids to play during the winter months, I hear them running up and down the hallways. They need to build a play area for them or the clubhouse should be kid friendly. So I would definitely say this is not a place for those who have young kids.
Lastly, even though I said there is ample parking, the spaces seem to be a little tight. The only place I liked parking my car was on the wall towards Seminary Road or the spaces closest to N. Van Dorn on the other side of the pool. Any space closest to the building were always smaller.
