Lived there since 2003 and have a great experience. Throughout the year i lived there I had few issues but were taken care.The maintenance staffs were very punctual and the office staff were great. They provided great service along with many activities for everyone of all ages.
I read some of the other reviews about this apartment and was shocked!!! if you think this is not good then you will not like anywhere so go and purchase yourself a house!!!!!!!

Are you kidding? How can you be shocked by the negative comments posted? They're all true! South Port is a terrible apartment complex, run by greedy, rude and incompetent staff. Water floods, sewage floods, cockroaches, termites, maintenance entering apartments without permission! It just plain sucks! Oh, and here's a good story: After around the fifth water and sewage flood (I lost count), South Port's contractirs still had fans in my apartment. I got home from work early one afternoon, and saw my sliding glass door open (I lived on the basement level). I panicked because I have two indoor cats. It was then that I saw this hispanic guy walking back to my apartment to get another fan. I should have knocked him on his ass, and claimed he was an intruder. I told him to leave, as I did not give permission for him to enter. He said, in butchered English, "South Port give me key." I told him to "get out!" He said he still had another fan, and I repeated "GET OUT!" I called those sacks of crap at the rental office, and informed them that if they ever dare give the keys to my apartment again for something not of an emergency nature, without my consent, I would sue the sh@# out of them. Furthermore, I reminded them that I have two indoor cats, both of whom I could not find, and if they got out because this idiot left the door open, there would also be a lawsuit, which I'd win! (Luckily, both cats were hiding.)
I hate South Port with such a passion! It is simply a terrible place to live. It's filthy! The living conditions are bad! The neighbors are dirty and rude! And the staff? Well, besides being rude, uncaring and unprofessional, South Port staff are lower than the sewage that came rushing into our apartment time and time again. Rot in hell, South Port and Grady Management!
