I live at South Port for 3 years. The first year was wonderful. The neighbors were quiet and friendly. The management was nice and supportive. It was a nice place for my new baby to growup.

The Second year wasn't good. A very rude and disruptive family moved next door, cops at the door all hours of night. I started seeing small amounts of roaches. Had a watermain break, which took a week and a half to fix. Management were all new people.

The Third year was even worse. There are two washers and dryers in every apartment building. In my building only 1 set worked for 3 months and maintenance was informed but never did any repairs. I started going to the laundramat. The ROACHES became unbareable. There were so many, so fast. I had my apartment sprayed every week for 2 months, and the roaches never went away. I called the manager, she told me that I need to call the Extermination Company's Manager. I called that manager and he came to visit my apartment, He did a walk through and sprayed again, and that was it. It was so bad, I worried about my (at the time) 2 year old daughter waking up in the middle of the night because of roaches crawling on her. When I contacted South Port's Management for the 16th time, the told me that they were handling it.

In that same year, neighbors began loitering through the building, sitting on the stairs and in the parking lot, talking and drinking all hours of the night. South Port security did nothing, mostly just walk with their flash lights. My husband's 1st motorcycle was parked in the parking lot and someone backed into it. The second motorcycle was stolen. Someone stole a big van, removed the seats (leaving them in the parking lot), lifting my husband's locked motorcycle and putting it in the van and driving off. Where was security, probably asleep. Another time, one of my neighbors was robbed at gun point in the middle of the night, no security.

Needless to say, Two Thumbs down for south port.
