I have been livng at South Port for a year now and the roach problem is not an exaggeration. How they exterminate is making the problem worse. They drive the roaches from apartment to apartment, building to building and then back again. I have had some strange exchanges with management and maybe those individuals were having a bad day. When you deal in customer service on a daily basis, you simply can't have bad days. I did have a problem with my refrigerator leaking last year and I had to call a few times before anyone came out, and when they came they insisted that it did not leak. I persisted and ultimately they replaced it with a new one. If you are in a transition and you just need a decent place, consider it, but knock on a few doors in a few different buildings and talk to people. Ride through the complex at different times on different days. South Port is not great but it's not HORRIBLE!! I've seen worse, a lot worse. Make no mistake about it you will be doing some extra work as far as your defenses against the bugs. If you don't like to keep things (---- 'n span) clean, don't move here.
