One of my friends told me to check out this site and was really shocked. I have been here for a few years now and sure this place is not perfect, but they are just that an apartment. Some of my neighbors here tear this place up and I am glad they are getting the boot. That's whey they are writting all these bad things that are not true. This place is trying to get better and trying to rid the dead beats. So take what you read with a grain of salt.

i visited this site when my significant other and I were thinking about renting at South Port. I alerted him to the negative comments posted on this page, and yes, we were nervous, but we decided to go with the apt. To our surprise, every comment made on this website, for us, was truly and utterly not true. We have spotted 3 roaches since living here (March '06). We always find parking, but this could be unique to what building you live. also, we live in an executive, which is fantastic! the community is multiracial, which i absolutely love, and it is SO quiet. again, this point may be unique to which unit you live. the patio is great, too. the only thing that i think is true about all the comments is that the staff is very unprofessional. personnel just seem to be so frazzled and unorganized all the time. when residents need their staff, it is very unfortunate that they are either hesitant or cannot get answers from a staff specifically working for them. so, if you are thinking about south port, i suggest that you ask staff what residents think about the community; are there less nosiy areas of the complex; and other things. my bf and i are recent college graduates, and this was a great choice for us, esp. for $1080/mo. with utilities included AND in alexandria!

traffik_stops : most of the things here are true. Some neighbors got their apts. flooded, I had roaches for over 4 months until they changed the ext. company. And yes, there is apt. crowding, and I even got my car towed by mistake...their mistake. I simply ignored the leasing office people and every time I had problems, I emailed Grady Management directly and they contacted SOuth Port management and then they called me. |
