Like most apartments, your experience will probably be influenced most be your immediate neighbors and individual situation. For me, living on one end of the complex closest to Edsall Road, I find the noise to be tolerable. The apartment itself is adequate (this is an older building that has been given a facelift -- the batroom tile is probably original (40 years old); the appliances are more modern but not new; the kitchen floor is new vinyl, and the carpet is new). No problems with bugs. Residents are courteous (with the occasional selfish lout thrown in to make us remember that we live amongst the full spectrum of humanity). Laundry facilities in each building (two washers and dryers for 12 units) are clean and modern. The leasing staff is responsive, polite, and conscientous. Close to shopping, restaurants, and public transportation (three bus lines; about a mile from the Van Dorn Metro). With all utilities included there are no suprise add-ons.
