Big Apt., Roaches and mice

I shared a 2 BD/ 1 Bath apt. with my brother for 2 years b/c the price was very affordable and the buses stopped right in front of our bldg. The apt. was big but had a problem with roaches and mice. We caught and killed at least 2 mice with traps and told the maintenance people about the problem. They just stuffed the heat furnace holes (where mice came from) with steel wool. The apt. also had a ceiling problem in the bathroom. Maintenance just did a temporary fix on it. We left after 2 years.
