Stoneridge at Mark Center

Lucky to live here From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/17/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   I wrote the post below and now I've been at Stoneridge for about 10 months so I've had time to assess the place. I must say - What a wonderful community. People are nice, quiet, and respectful of each other. I feel very safe here. The building I live in is very nice. After shopping around the Alexandria/Arlington area for a better place this week I've discovered NONE better than this apartment. The rent is much lower than many apartments in the area. I have nearly 700 sq. feet for less t han $1,200 a month. After a year my rent is going up $50 but that isn't too bad. The building must be constructed well because I never hear any of my neighbors - next door or below. Ever. Overall I'll say that you're wise to look into Stoneridge. ******************************* I've been at Stoneridge for two months and things are going well. There were some problems at first with bugs, but that is due to it being a heavily wooded area and the weather turning cooler. Management sent an exterminator promptly. I also had problems with my stove - it was getting too hot, and I burned myself once on the range top. Management replaced the stove. They've also fixed my blinds when I screwed them up. Recently they painted everyone's porches. I wasn't too pleased with this since they got paint everywhere, but it looks alright. Overall the location is nice, convenient, and the management is helpful. There are lots of maintenance people caring for the property at all times. The bus service is my #1 of getting to work, though I wish it ran past 6:50 p.m. Overall I've been very pleased with the cleanliness - the space looked like new. The kitchen is shiny and new-looking, and the bathroom is like a nice hotel bathroom. Anyone looking into Stoneridge should be pleased with the results - that is, if you can get in. There is a long waiting list!
