Stoneridge at Mark Center

This place is a JOKE! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/30/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   Living at Stoneridge used to be great. But in the last 6 months they are not upholding any rules. Motorcycles block front spots with dead tags... bikes on 1st floor balconies with no attempt to conceal... Giant Satellite dishes cemented into the ground right next to the front door of the building. During the winter they are not on top of keeping the sidewalks de-iced if something happens after hours, and they do a TERRIBLE job plowing the parking lot. It also sounds like we have elephants living above us... Let's take a moment to reflect on the bathroom. Spray painted tile and tub... Not only tacky but a pain in the butt to clean. Had a shower mat in the tub and it ripped up the paint, how nice! Electric outages... So it is understandable that the city needs to do maintenance on the electricity. BUT they should let you know that the F'n keypads to the main doors are NOT ON A BACKUP!!! Yes folks, that means if the power is out you cant get into the building! Try finding someone to let you in at 8AM on a saturday... Just to talk about the shuttle since everyone hates it.. I took it once, it was 20 minutes late and full at the first stop. They insisted on packing people in like sardines and stopping to tell people we were full so they could yell at us for a few minutes. NICE! Now to add insult to injury, they want to raise our rent 8 percent. Last time I checked the annual cost of living should only climb 3 percent and that is assuming you haven't let your place go to crap. I would like to say, before they were bought out by a new leasing company it was a good place to live. Word to the wise, AVOID this leasing company! They are raising rates so high that you might as well buy a condo instead of living here.
