The only reason I moved to Sussex Commons was to get a dog. Having lived there I have decided there are many other places my dog and I would rather live. Maybe it was the heat that was out for an entire week while there was 16" of snow on the ground. Or maybe it was the first time that the sprinklers burst above the ceiling and flooded my apartment. Or maybe it was the trash that I could smell from my porch in the warm summer breeze. Or maybe it was the cars on blocks in the neighborhood. Or the cars with smashed windshields. Or maybe it was the rabbit poop constantly covering my porch from the upstairs neighbors, even after I alerted management several times. Or maybe it was the constant club atmosphere from the bass intensive music rattling pictures on the mantle. Or maybe it was the second time the sprinklers burst and flooded my apartment within a single year. I'm not sure, but somewhere during my stay I just couldn't take it anymore, no matter how reasonable the $1250/month for a 2 bedroom was for this area. I hated my stay at Archstone Sussex Commons so much, I put together a little slide show on the web to show you what it was like.
