No air conditioning on days over 80 degrees. Hasn't worked properly the past two years.
Delivery Drivers are towed the minute they step out of their cars.
Parking garage damp, under construction, and dark.
Management lies and is full of excuses. Maintenance is horrible.
Asbestos, mold.
Over priced.
Management's decisions and/or change in policies has but tenants at odds at one another.
Caliber of tenants reduced.
High utilities.
Moving ASAP!!!!!

I have lived at Park Center for over 15 years, and the crime is extremely low here. Check the police reports with Alexandria City. Yes. It is time for us to seek our own homes and stop this renting. We are being seriously reaped off and disrespected. Our rent is over $1725 per month and our monthly utility ranges between $125-$255; the cold winter months are the worse. The Owners of Park Center need to invest more money in the property and grounds, the property will pay for itself. If not, Park Center will become an empty building with a poor reputation.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE CRIME RATES- MANY THINGS HAVE NEVER MADE IT TO THE PAPER OR THE POLICE REPORTS- FOR INSTANCE WHEN THE TENANT IN C-101 WAS SHOT WHEN HE OPENED THE DOOR IN 1989 IT DID MAKE THE NEWS-OR WHEN C-201 WAS ROBBED ON THE FIRST FLOOR. AND WHAT ABOUT ABOUT SOMEONE ON THE WAY TO THE STORE AND WERE MUGGED-THE LOCKS HAVE NEVER BEEN CHANGED MY MOTHER HAS LIVED HERE OVER 30 YEARS. WHAT ABOUT LAST SAT WHEN SOMEONE WAS MUGGED WALKING BACK FROM COPELANDS THAT IS THE SECOND TIME. SOME PEOPLE IN THIS COMPLEX HAVE VERY LOW RENTS-GHA PICKED AND CHOOSE THAT AND PICKED ON THE DISABLED AND ELDERLY. I WISH THEY WOULD CONDEM THIS WHOLE BUILDING.

As a former police officer, Be real. In comparision to other properties, crime is extremely low at Park Center. The bulk of the crime reports at Park Center are domestic abuse or reports from to much noise. Park Center crime is minimum.

Park Center's mice are coming from the pile of trash underneath building C. It's like a vacation spots with all you can eat buffet for rats and mice in Alexandria

The City of Alexandria requires that all apartments convert over to heat around this time. Park Center doesn't control that. They have left the A/C on, which is a violation if anyone complains. I have lived here for 17 years and can attest that the temperature is vary unusual. We don't see high 80's day after day in late September or early October. (Check weather.com almanac if you want average temperatures which are 80 or below.) I also checked the 10 day forcast and the high should drop to about 70 with a low below 50 by Saturday October 13. Since it takes about 5 days to convert the system from A/C to heat, we will see how you complain then.

Actually the requirement in the C.O.A. is that they supply heat by October the 15th. It does take a few days to convert a single system but there is no violation at this time.

You are sooooooo correct! This place is a total DUMP! Everything about this place is horrible! I can't wait to move out. Management is totally clueless and non-responsive. They lie, lie, lie! The plumbing system is HORRIBLE. The water smells like mold and mildew. The toilets overflow. The kitchen sink smells like a sewer. What do the maintenance people do all day other than walk around looking STUPID? DO NOT MOVE HERE! RUN! RUN! RUN!
