Since I moved in this apartment building, so many management have changed, good people don t last because the upper management don't care about residences. First I found out the heating/cooling system is controlled by them they turn it on and off by the time guideline. Yes, you do control the temperature of your own apartment, but when it is soooo hot in October, they have to turn the heat on by law to all apartments. Parking is soooo horrible; always there is water and leaks on the floor. Service is bad; it takes them 2-3 days to fix the problem. Always there is a problem with hot water, imagine taking shower without hot water. ohhhh they shut it off without notification. I will not recommend this apartment unless you are in really needed for a place.they do construction work without careness of any children you have in the apartment; not considerate of any dust and mess they leave around.

Guys, what's the matter with you? Call Alexandria City and let them know about the safety issues of this buildings. I thought about moving there, but you can tell there's something really wrong. tHE BEST THING FOR MANAGEMENT TO CHANGE IS NOT TO RENEW YOU CONTRACTS!! So the company will have to invest money to renew all and make it decent! Don't waste you time , MOVE OUT!

why do you you stay there if you dis-like it so much? what attracts you to it to make you stay? haven't they been repairing the garage from the water problems? most older, high rise apt. heating/cooling is controlled by a boiler system.

What keeps people coming in? Huge apartments. Huge swiming pool. Convience store that does cleaning. Hair salon. Concierge. Underground parking, even if the doors are left open, your car is still protected from elements. Excellent location to Alexandria/Arlington and Metro. Shuttle to metro during rush hour. Security and lack of control over HVAC has always been the worst. They are upgrading the apartments, putting in new windows, and fixing the garage. But the water pipes have/will alawys be in bad shape constantly needing fixing. The question becomes, are the negatives offsetting the positives enough to go to the problem of moving? Looking around this website at other apartments in the area, the question may be no. Very few have significantly better ratings, and most of them only had a few responses. And the used housing market was never that great unless you want to put a lot of money into the new home. And now the prices aren't stable. Dealer's choice.
