The construction noise is horrible, with earplugs and the radio blasting i can still hear the jackhammers. This has been going on for 2 months. OSHA makes me wear hearing protection at work for less noise.

I was given several false letters stating that i owed the building thousands of dollars. I had to research myself to find out where their horrible account manager had made numerous mistakes. She was a mess, she was charging bills from other apartments to mine. For some charges she had no explanation. I had to go back into my records to clear my name. I was not even issues a written apology.

They towed my roommates cars when he was out of town and charged him hundreds of dollars. He was parked in his parking spaces with Aventine parking stickers on his car.

They have no security but leave doors open everywhere. Constant fire alarms and the cops raided the neighbors.

I have 1 month left in my lease thank god! DO NOT MOVE HERE! RUN!!!RUN!RUN!!!

I was seriouly considering moving out when my leased expires in August. And I have lived here for 18 years. Then something funny happened. I got my lease renewal notice (earlier than last year) and it shows NO INCREASE in my monthly payment. This is too good to turn down even with all the problems. I attribute the no increase to: 1. My unit is unrenovated, meaining they would have to put in at least $10,000 in upgrades to the kitchen (but I don't cook anyway) plus painting, carpet, and maybe the bathrooms. 2. There are still many vacancies in my C-wing floor. Advice: before making a final decision, see if you can negotiate a lower montly payment. I think they are in a weak position and may be more desperate to keep us than you know.
