The Aventine is horrible! I moved here in May and had several problems right away which did not get fixed until 3 months later. Every time it rains the water leaks from the roof and comes in though the vent in the hallway and creates huge puddles in the hallway and in my apartment. Every time I tell them about the leak they say that it is fixed yet it never seems to stop flooding. My carpet was replaced after the third time is happened and when the maintenance guy pulled the carpet up water was pouring out of the carpet. I have mold in the ceiling which they painted over with regular paint, but the mold is still there and you can see the brown coming back again. I have severe eye allergies now from the mold. My husband and I are leaving we cannot take the horrible conditions any longer. The construction in the morning is horrible. Drilling, hammering, yelling, singing outside our bedroom window at 8 in the morning, and we can hear them walking on the roof when they get there in the early morning. The property manager cares only about the property not about the residents. The other people in the leasing office are rude and don t really want to help. The front desk used to be open 24 hours but now is only open until 10 pm most nights. The construction workers leave the garage doors open during the day and do not close them back after they leave. I ve taken a picture of the garage door open at 11:30 pm while I was walking my dog. I have been harassed by a group of four drunken men in the elevator while I was going out to pick up my husband up from work. No security, no police detail (even though 3001 has a police detail every night) and horrible roads to get in and out of the apartment.
The Fire Marshal is our regularly ticketing people for parking in fire lanes.
The space is large but the living conditions keep getting worse.
