I've lived at the Encore for about a month now and I LOVE the complex. I had an issue with the water temperature and a couple of other minor complaints and as soon as I called the front office maintenance was there to fix the problem that day. While my actual leasing process was LESS than favorable (staff not very friendly and had to make multiple trips due to leasing staff errors) my experience at the complex has more than made up for it.

The shuttle from the complex to the Pentagon City Metro is extremely convenient and overall my apartment is really nice and not overly priced for the area (we got 2 months free rent during a special!). There is also a pool and gym (haven't visted either yet lol but they do exist!) My only complaints are the parking and storage. Parking is by permit only and you only get 8 guest passes per month (not so convenient if you have a significant other or friends who visit- but don't "worry" you can buy one for $70/month- eeew, no thanks!) and also there is no extra storage in the units- you have a coat closet and the closets in the bedrooms but that's about it- not even linen closets for the bathrooms!

Although I am unhappy with those two issues, my overall experience at the Encore has been great and all of my neighbors are extremely friendly- I would definitely recommend the Encore!

Are you presently still at the encore how do you find it now, me and my husband are considering moving because rent is getting high here and wanted more feedback. The reviews here are not that good so it is scaring us off.
