I have lived here for about 4 months or so. I really do like it and think that the staff here are helpful. Do they need more staff, yes. I do believe they do what they can to help everyone. I know they recently got rid of the assistant who, at times, could be a little rude. Infact, I kind of feel bad for those who are in their now because they work very hard and want to make sure everyone is happy. They just have to over come the bitter taste that was left from the person who is no longer there.
Parking is something that I wish was different but it's Alexandria, you can't park anywhere with out walking. So, I'm a bit understanding.
The apartments are nice. Do you hear noise, sure but it's an apartment not a house. I don't think I've ever lived anywhere where I didn't hear noise.
I do think the breezeways could be a little cleaner and I'm disappointed that the pool won't be open too.
I left another complex in the area and from these reviews that I just read, you would think they lived in the ghetto. It just shows they haven't lived in "bad" before. This is heaven compared to the other places I have lived.

If you really lived here for 4 months like you mentioned and you gave this review, most likely you might be working in the management office. Please do not believe anything this review is saying, he/she might be working in the management office and trying to preserve his/her job. That is perfectly understandable!

Why assume that the poster works in the management office. That is absurd. The Encore is livable and the management and leasing staff (little that have) do their best to accomodate the residents. It isn't perfect but it sure isn't the WORST experience I've ever had. The apartments are nice, noise is part of apartment living, parking... well look around you they can only fit but so many spots infront of each building. All in all I've been here 1 year going on 2 and I think it is decent living. I also appreciate how helpful Kristin, Judy and Manish are. And I DO NOT work in the management office!
