I lived 8 of the worst years at Crestview Apts! From: AdRoa7@aol.com Date posted: 7/3/2005 Years at this apartment: 1993 - 2005   I lived in Crestview from 1983-1990. The rent increases were astronomical and frequent. Roaches everywhere Frequent breakdowns of washer/dryers.Filth,filth,filth! And rats!! Nearly non existant maintenance and extremely hostile neighbors. Uncaring and extremely rude management. Frequent water leakage from above floors. At one point,I had "Mushroom" fungus forming on my walls. Above floor neighbor toilet flows frequent. I always knew when it was happening,because it would trickle down the wall! Large ------ community then...which is fine...if you're ------. I'm not. I am All-American,blond and very fair-skinned...obviously not ------. Even back then there was a lot of resentment and hostility toward Americans and it was very apparent in Crestview(then)Garden Apts. Well,I hope this helps. Based on what I have seen posted here pretty much nothing there has changed in the last 20 years. If given the choice of Crestview or a Plasma TV cardboard cartin,I'd live in the cartin! ADAM
