Standard Apartment Community; Worthwhile YES

Northern Virginia is just plain expensive, and what you get for your money renting has actually increased since I first started renting in 1996. The apartents are nicer and have amenities, but by and large living in an apartment is not really a community as most of us work and use our places as a place to crash and sleep. I am not looking for activities like a cruise ship, and am surely not expecting that an apartment is suppose to be like a Reston townhome. I commute to Alexandria, so Jefferson at Van Dorn is perfect for me, I travel so Reagan is very convenient. The apartment complex next door is newer but is priced as such. For what you get a clean apartment, convenient location to DC the price is right. The management team is ok, they have to spend 90% of their time with 2% of the tenants, but I guess that is normal. I pay my rent and expect peace and queit when I get home, and that is what I get... The maintenance team is less than stellar, two calls and both were accomplished by un-motivated techs...
