I have lived here for 1 1/2 years, overall, I've found staff to be helpful and quick in responding to repair requests. My initial impression was not so good, but improved with a staff change. If there is any possibility (any at all) of you needing to move - DO NOT SIGN A LONG TERM LEASE. The penalties for breaking your lease are out of control. 1 1/2 months rent...for what'' I've never seen rats, but do have the issue with nails popping up on my balcony - OUCH! Absolutely do not live on the Van Dorn side -the traffic noises and lights are annoying - especially motorcycles in the warmer months. My rent increase after my first year was only $50/month and I did have a special rate - I've heard others have had increases of $400/month. Not sure how they figure this out, but they are not willing to negotiate. I have never heard anything from my downstairs neighbor, but hear plenty from those above.
