Do yourself a favor and do all of your homework before giving the management (Waterton Living) your security deposit. When the Ridgeleigh was the The Jefferson at Van Dorn things were a lot better. We've experienced several management changes, but without a doubt WATERTON LIVING is the worst!

I'm currently a resident, but this will be my last year. I have been here now 3.5 years and things are going down hill very quickly.

The bottom line up front: The resident management cares very little about your issues with the complex and is completely focused on getting new tenants to sign. They will kiss your azz completely to get you to sign, and then once you're in they could care less about your apartment. They exhibit this by ignoring your maintenance requests over and over.

For example, I'm on the top story of a building. The roof leaks every time it rains. I have called at least two dozen times and eventually a contractor shows up and repairs the damage on the interior. The repair was beautiful and lasted until the next time it rained. Now, after several rains have passed; the living room walls are stained, the carpet ruined and the management could care less.

Because of the "deals" that management is making with future tenants, the monthly rent for these folks has decreased quite a bit. I have witnessed shady incidents lately to include vandalism and other incidents that I would rather not have near my living areas.

The quality of life has decreased beyond my expectations, and I will be moving on once my lease expires. If I could get out of my lease without paying a fortune I seriously would. The conditions have deteriorated, and continue to do so at a rate faster then ever. In the three plus years I have lived on Highdale Cirlce, now is the first time the place is infested with roaches.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. Like I indicated earlier, do your home work and steer clear from the Ridgeleigh. Believe me, the complex has gone from first to worse.
