This apartment is ridiculous. The apartment looks nice, but you'll find that you have a continuous roach problem. I watched the exterminator. Their idea of extermination is coming in, laying down one squirt of pesticide under the sink, and then leaving. I had to buy caulk and boric acid to close off the numerous cracks and holes in the kitchen and bathroom.
My biggest problem is the parking. My car and my fiance's car have been towed 6 times now, despite us being legal residents here, never being late on any payment, or having anything wrong with our cars. Virginia Village is "pretty sure" that they have A-1 Towing under contract. When I asked what kinds of checks and balances they had with them, they didn't know. My car was towed the first night I moved in! I had the parking sticker, everything up to date, and nothing was broken. When I went to Virginia Village, all I got was a "well...there isn't really anything we can do". 6 times now, my car and my fiance's car have been taken. At $120 to get a car back from A-1 Towing, it's cost us $720 dollars so far. Virginia Village does absolutely nothing to get your car back. They refuse to pay for it, they don't stick up for you, and they don't seem to know how to control A-1 Towing. They really do stick up for the towing business justifying the tow 6 ways from Sunday rather than sticking up for their residents.
Unless you enjoy coming out in the morning to find your car gone after a night of roaches on your sink, don't live here.

I am currently suing A-1 for towing from another complex with a decal. I would love have any other information from your experience to establish my case against A-1. Would you be interested?

I was going to sue them and when I spoke to a lawyer they said it wouldn't be worth pursuing. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have though. Or if you just want some statements from me I can do that too.
