Woodlawn Garden Apartments

Terrible Place To Live From: gabrielle_102 Date posted: 4/12/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I have been staying at Woodlawn for about a year now. Everyday I look forward to moving! Where do I began' Well the Apts are spacious but that just means more room for roaches. I believe my whole building is infested. The buildings are very old. No renovation have been made since they were built most likely. The kitchen appliances are the worst. My stove doesnęt cook right. The oven doesnęt really get hot enough. My dishwasher doesnęt clean because it is so old. Our carpet is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO old and the rental office will not replace it. There is mildew forming around the vents. The rental office will not fix this either. The hallways always smell bad. It is a mixture between funk and international cuisines. I donęt think I have ever seen maintance since I have been here. There is ample parking but you will pay a high price for it. I think the tow man gets off cheap thrills by towing your car. It doesnęt matter if there is a sticker on it or not. I think my cars have been towed at least 4-5 times. The rental office doesnęt care about that either. I think they are getting a piece of the cut since it is almost $100 to get your car back. The only good thing about Woodlawn is there Nursery School. They just went under new management and it is the best! My daughter goes there and she is learning so much. She is 3 and speaking 2 languages. I am very impressed. But the daycare isn't for Woodlawn residence only. I would recommend moving somewhere else and letting your child attend the daycare if you have any.
