I fell that Archstone does not take care of their residents. I have had a number of problems with the management. I put in a service request to get my ceiling fixed because it was cracking along the entire apartment. The maintenance guys came in and painted over it. The ceiling is still cracking, and has gotten worst. I have had a maintenace worker walk into my house, when he was not called. When he was intially confronted by the management and the police he said that he did not come in. He was questioned a second time, and he finally admitted to it. Management did nothing to rectify the situation. The maintenance worker is still employed with Archstone Patriot Village. How is a person supposed to feel comfortable and safe in their home when management does nothing but make excuses for the workers. Recently, Verizon went into all of the homes and installed fiber optic cable for their Verizon FIOS. The workers removed everything from my closet, including my wedding dress and put it in the floor. When I came home everything was still in the floor, and there was white dust on my carpet floor. I was told that security was with every worker that went into the apartments. I assume that security was just to make sure tha nothing was stolen, not damaged. So, I believe that Archstone needs to step up their customer care along with how they help their tenants. I would never live in another Archstone property, and would not recommend it to anyone.

The verizon idiots spilled their maroon paint on the carpet in the floor of my closet... guess who is going to end up paying for that?!?!!?
