I lived in Patriot Village for a year and a half and enjoyed my time there. I found the apartments there larger and cleaner than most in the Annandale area. The appliances were reletively new and had no problems. I had no pest problems except a few house centipedes when I first moved in but were easily taken care of by traps placed by the management. I lived on the top floor so noise was not a problem from the neighbors but I think many apartments can hear traffic from 495, especially since the windows are older, leaky, and single paned. There is no fitness center, but having Wakefield park in walking distance is a great plus. One negative was that maintenance was either slow to respond to requests or did not fix problems adequately. My neighbors were friendly and welcoming in this very multi-cultural community. Guest parking is limited, and street parking is not recommended along Americana Drive due to break-ins.
