I'm a little confused as I am reading some of these reviews. I have been living at The Avant ( formerly Archstone Patriot Village) for 3 years now. I had a lot of problems regarding the management and maintenence up until the end of last yeah when they switched over to this new company and renamed themselves. Since then, they have already done preventive maintenence on my apartment ( which Archstone did not ever do in my years living there) which is nice. They also have this 24 hour hotline now for after hour maintenence which is way better than before---I used to have to leave numerous messages on the office machine, where now, with this new management, they actually have an emergency hotline and someone ACTUALLY answers!

Im not really sure why some people are writing bad reviews.. I guess this is a place you get on to vent about negative stuff, so I guess I will be one of the first to actually have something good to say.

All an all, The Avant, in my opinion, is a pretty decent place. It's worth the money you are spending for the amount of space you get.
