I am a former resident of the avant and I must agree with the posting of current and former residents. I was in the military and have stayed in a many apartments during my military service. I have to honestly say the avant formerly the patriot village. Is by far the worst apartments that I have ever had the misfortune of living in. The only good thing about the apartment is the convenience of having a washer and dryer inside of your apartment.

The towing has gotten darn right ridicules, I guess that really need money because of all the residents that are moving out. I saw them a tow a person car at about 1130am in the morning can you believe that. You know of course that they get a cut of the towing fee, and please don't get me started about all the noise being made the people that are doing the so called upgrades. They really must have gotten a good deal. The people conducting the work will leave all the stuff even when they go home for the night and also the whole time they are doing the work which in apartment complex took about a week. When they were done they left all their trash behind and a lot paint casting on the big window you see while walking up the stairs. The people at my particular apartment would always huge amount of garbage outside of their apartment and would leave it there for days. God forbid if your wife or girlfriend went to the trash area by herself. I really hate to sound racist but the spanish guys would always harass my girlfriend asking would like to have a drink or trying to pick her up. It is a very dangerous place. When I first moved in things weren't so bad, but know place has really gone down hill. You know it bad you when you see seven moving truck moving out on the same day. The best advice I can give you is drive through the avant at night and you see some of the things yourself. If you do by some crazy reason still decide to move in the avant. Make sure to write you experience down so you can save a poor soul from making the same mistake that you made.
