no parking, no heat, no hot water and worse the avant staff doesn't care. You call in a maintenance issue, they come look at the situation then disappear for days until you call back asking what the heck is going on. I had no heat in the middle of winter for 2 weeks, did anyone care or offer space heaters, of course not it was the opposite. Staff disputing exactly how cold it is outside or telling me that they have no heat either in the office ( big deal you will be going home at 7, I live here and have to go to sleep and wake up frozen.). The avant also does monthly repairs on who knows what that requires them to shut of heat, electricity or both, and they drop of the notice for these repairs only hours before you will be without heat or water or electricity like its no big deal to the tenants. Overall this has been the worst neighborhood my family and I have lived in and management for this property has no RESPECT for anyone!!!! DO NOT MOVE TO THE AVANT!!!

I made the mistake of putting an inflated application fee down on an apt here before doing research. After reading these reviews and checking the Fairfax County crime reports for this place, I cancelled my reservation. I'm gonna try to get my money back though, I couldn't understand a word my sales agent said without asking him to repeat it 3 times, and he totally lied about the utilities being billed only based on what you use. Shady, shady, shady!!
