I lived here from 2001 to 2002, and it was "okay". The place was large and had a lot of storage closets, which was good.
I don't know if anyone else had this experience, but I was shown an apt. in the highrise with blinds when i moved in, and then when I got there, there were no blinds and I had to put them up myself.
The toilet was broken on a regular basis, and looked like the original fixture from the 70s. Bathroom was kind of cramped but there was always hot water. My towel rods fell off the wall, and when I attempted to fix them, it looked like they had been jerry-rigged to stay on the wall.
I liked the spaciousness of the apartment, and it was brightly lit during the day. One thing that took a lot of getting used to was the noise of the shopping center in front of the building...trucks arriving at all hours, etc., and the windows didn't do a good job of keeping the noise out.
Also the trash chutes were great in terms of convenience. I don't know if it was my neighbors/floor, etc., but my hallway and often the elevators themselves reeked of trash.
I guess it had its pluses and minuses. I moved somewhere a lot newer in late 2002 and there are still problems/nuances with this place even though it's new. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
