I will make this short and sweet...I am not a complainer, but I think this deems necessary. I have made my complaints clear to Southern Management (look out for these jokers) as well as the Better Business Bureau. Our first problems stemmed from a refrigerator that continued to spoil our food b/c everything froze and then thawed. They came out to "fix" it several times. It was never fixed. Most of the time we were met with responses such as "have we fixed this before'" and "perhaps we should order some sort of parts"... our sink stopper rotted out, our air filters were never changed (as if this place isn?t old and dusty enough), our door handle kept falling off every time you went to turn it, and our toilet continued to run. It took us a month to get our toilet fixed.

The management is awful! I have never seen such a shoddy management company ever! They summoned us to court trying to say we didn?t give them all their rent only for them to later apologize b/c they posted it to someone else?s account! Talk about cooking the books! Then they tried to get us to pay the legal fees for their summons! The people are rude and are only out to get as much money as they can without giving you the service you pay for. The worst part is that when I was in a car accident and my pass was shattered from my back windshield, that very night they towed me from the apartment complex and blamed me for not having a pass. Needless to say, I had to pay the $60 to get the car out of tow.

We live in a dangerous neighborhood. People are constantly hanging out on the streets and in the adjacent parking lot. The noise is awful--from the nieghbors to the little river turnpike noise. Someone was raped in my very building and they have yet to catch the guy. The lighting is always going out in the lightposts outside.

These folks should not even be in business. It is a dangerous, poorly run management staff as well as neighborhood and apartment. It is not worth half the price you pay to live here. We are breaking our lease early to get out and move back to Sterling. I abhore you to avoid this apartment complex as well as Southern Management at all costs.
