At least it's a roof over our heads.

Overall it is a place to live, that's it. I lived in the apartment style condo, not the highrise. The place is old and the walls are horribly patched up. Problem with roaches initially, drafty, tiny kitchen with no windows. You hear doors slamming all the time when someone comes home. Choice of w/w carpet or hardwood floors... but our floors were so badly damaged we had to pay $50/month for carpet (no choice). Those who want hardwood floors have to carpet 80% of it with throw rugs with padding... some choice huh' A/C and heat are turned on by the management but you can control the temp. but it isn't truly individually controlled like they say. Luckily we pay military set-aside rate (the place isn't worth more than what we pay at a discount). Renter beware, don't consider this a long term dwelling.
