my problem is. . .

I have been with The Parliaments for over 10 years now and I have three main issues - parking, rent and the office staff. I live in a building that does not directly back up to a parking area, so I already have a hike from the lot. When you toss in the folks who park their vehicles in spaces that are closest to my building, and leave them unmoved for sometimes months at a time, it's even worse. I have suggested on numerous occasions either assigned parking, or a certain number of spaces near each building to be "rented" and have been shot down each time.
Every year I get my "increase letter", which cheerfully states that my rent, even with the increase, is still so much below the market price. When someone has been a loyal resident for so many years, you'd think you would rate a higher discount - instead of the under-$100 savings they point out. I rarely call for maintenance and am gone for long periods of time, so look how much they're saving from me on electricity/water!
And the office staff! Everyone is soooo friendly - but they pass you around like a hot potato, regardless the issue. And if you talk to more than one person, you'll get more than one (usually conflicting) answer. Very frustrating.
I love the large rooms of the units and the overall appearance of the grounds, but the only thing really keeping me here is the price, which is still the best deal I've found (since it includes utils). . .
