I have lived in the Parliaments for 3 years. I like the how they keep the property clean. My complaint is that the staff is two faced. You can call and ask a simple question and they act like you are bothering them. When you call or visit seeking service and you hang up or leave feeling like you are asking a big favor of them. When the Property Manager, Karen is around, everyone is nice and friendly. When she is not around, everyone is very brusk, unapproachable and very quick to get rid of you. Problems dont get resolved very quickly at all and when you try to find out the status, everyone gives you a different story. You never know what to think. The maintenance staff is very friendly and helpful but they cannot do anything without the office's say-so. All in all...the office staff is not very helpful at all and one feels like their pulling teeth to get even the smallest of help from them. There is a lot of noise but that is to be expected in an apartment building. Cleansliness is very important to me and that is why I stay at the Parliaments; as such I try to have minimal contact with the office staff.

You are absolutely right about the office staff. They are the rudest bunch we have ever experienced especially Nancy & Tracey. We live in the highrise and have just gone thru hell with window replacements and now Verizon fios. The windows we can understand. But the fios is being forced in each apartment and this involved emptying out your closets for up to 3 dys while these guys are in & out of your place. They cant just run the wires in the utility rooms and then let people who want it have it run in their place...we all have to have this nightmare of plaster all over the apartment in addition to our belongings out in full view...we have an attorney who lives here who is looking into getting a class action lawsuit going against this place. We are not always told when "staff" are coming in for one reason or another and not always for maintanence. It's excessive. The only good thing we can say is that the cleaning crew and maintanence guys are the best. Maybe they should put them in the rental office instead of that bunch of rude, unprofessional staff
