We looked at several buildings in the Courthouse, Rosslyn, Virginia Square, Ballston and Alexandria areas. This one has the optimal combination of location, price and amenities. The Courthouse metro stop is RIGHT across the street, lots of shopping (from groceries to Ann Taylor) is within walking distance. It borders a residential neighborhood/elementary school, so it?s pretty quiet at night. The building is new and in good condition. Gym, pool, rec room, business center w/Internet and fax. Indoor parking (one space free) with secure entry to building. Pretty good for Courthouse prices (and this place is FAR from the top of that scale). Lots of construction in the area, both buildings and roads, so make sure you ASK which side of the building your apartment will face. That may make a difference to you if you happen to be home on weekdays.
